Our commonly used ingredients and why we use them.

If you are looking through our products and see an ingredient that you are unfamiliar with, find it in this section to understand why its there!

WAX

WaxMelts: We use two simple ingredients for our wax melts; coconut wax- to limit harsh chemicals while insuring an eco friendly burn (due to coconut allergies you can request to have your melts made with soy wax), and fragrance oil- sourced from some of the most reputable creators across Canada.

Candles: for our candles we use two simple ingredients; soy wax, while soy wax limits harsh chemicals to a degree, it also allows a longer burning candle and gives people with coconut allergies a chance to enjoy our products too (you can request to have your candles made with coconut wax if you prefer something more eco friendly), Fragrance oil- sourced from some of the most reputable creators across canada.

SOAP

Depending on what soap bar you are looking to purchase there may be a fluctuation in the different ingredients you may see, they are not all made the same. Here is a list of all the ingredients you will come across;

Goat Milk Soap Base- Rich in fatty acids that support a healthy skin barrier and promotes hydration with natural exfoliating properties without stripping the skin.

Coconut Soap Base- Coconut is great for hydration of both the skin and hair. Combined with its strong antioxidant and anti-bacterial properties, it helps combat common skin issues like acne.

Shea Butter Soap Base- Shea butter has been used for centuries to help heal wounds and burns with its anti-inflammatory properties. Reducing redness and swelling of the skin. Shea butter also provides natural UV protection and prevents cell damage! (Do not use in the place of sunscreen)

Clear Glycerin Soap Base- Clear glycerin is used to protect the skin by forming a protective layer, trapping in moisture while still allowing your skin to breathe.

Mango Butter- Mango butter is a gentle way of firming and plumping the skin, which is great for people who have sensitivities. It also helps combat small blemishes and scarring all while hydrating dry skin and providing natural UV protection. (Do not use in place of sunscreen).

Rosemary Oil- Rosemary oil is used in hair and skin products across the globe. Rosemary is great for people with oily skin as it helps regulate oil sebum production and with its anti-bacterial properties, helps reduce acne.

LOTIONS/BODY BUTTER

For our body butter we use Ginger Lily Farms Butter Lotion as a base, not only is it budget friendly but also 100% vegan, cruelty free and paraben and sulfate free containing healthy ingredients like shea butter, vitamin e, and aloe leaf juice.

Coffee Butter- When used topically, coffee butter is amazing for hydrating the skin giving it a smooth texture. While its natural caffeine contents help support the integrity of the skin.

Aloe Butter- Aloe butter is great at hydrating the skin and locking in that moisture, reducing water loss of the skin for longer lasting hydration affects

Mango Butter-Mango butter is a gentle way of firming and plumping the skin, which is great for people who have sensitivities. It also helps combat small blemishes and scarring all while hydrating dry skin and providing natural UV protection. (Do not use in place of sunscreen).

Kokum Butter- Kokum butter is loaded with anti-bacterial properties, cleansing the skin of germs and dust. Notorious for it's dry and light texture it helps regulate oily skin and prevent acne.

Blueberry Powder- Working harmoniously with the kokum butter, blueberry powder works as a natural exfoliant to really work out any dirt or small black heads that may be hiding. Jam packed with antioxidants blueberry powder works hard to bring radiance to the skin with its anti-aging properties.

Rosemary Oil- Rosemary oil is used in hair and skin products across the globe. When used in leave-on products, rosemary oil works great at repelling insects! Rosemary oil is also great for people with oily skin as it helps regulate oil sebum production and with its anti-bacterial properties, helps reduce acne.
